Seminar for Girls and Females
On November 27, 2021 a seminar was organized by A. V. A Education Society’s N. G. Vartak English Medium High School and Junior College, Shreemati Taramai Memorial Academy (CBSE) School and Padmashree Bhausaheb Vartak College under the banner of ‘Vikas Sevavrati Vrund’. It was held in Saphale for females of the village & girl students of ZP school of Mothi Unchavali, Chhoti Unchavali and Nangarmod.
The topic of the seminar was ‘A brief discussion on Menstruation’.The Speaker of this seminar was Dr. Anuja Sankhe. Dr. Anujacleared all the doubts related to menstruation. There were around 110 girls and females who participated in the seminar.
Dr. Anuja Sankhe elaborated and discussed the following points about menstrual cycle:-
- How menstrual cycle works?
- How does a period feel like?
- Why do we get periods?
- Why it is important to talk about periods?
- What are the Myths related to periods?
- How much blood do we lose during periods?
- What are the benefits of using menstrual cups?
After the seminar, the team of Vikas Sevavrati Vrund distributed Sanitary Napkins to the girls and females for their participation in the seminar. Teachers of ZP schools also showed enthusiasm and co-operated in every possible way.
To pay deep gratitude to our inspiration Late Shree. Padmashree Bhausaheb Vartak on his death anniversary, Vikas Sevavrati Vrund distributed pair of sandals to rural area, 100 students at remote villages Nangarmod, Mothi Uchavali and Chhoti Uchavali. The Principal Mrs. Sarika Rawat, Supervisor of primary section Mrs. Manisha Adelkar and Mrs. Sheetal Vartak were present for this programme.
President Mr. Vikas Narsinha Vartak Sir’s birthday
Agashi – Virar – Arnala Education Society’s N. G. Vartak English Medium High School and Junior College, Shreemati Taramai Vartak Memorial Academy (CBSE) school and Padmashree Bhausaheb Vartak College jointly organized various social events on the occasion of A. V. A Education Society’s President Mr. Vikas Narsinha Vartak Sir’s birthday. The teachers and staff of these three institutes came together and set up a group called “Vikas Sevavrati Vrund” to carry out various social activities through out the year. This social initiative was launched on February 28, 2021.
Vikas Sevavrati Vrund took guardianship of three schools namely Mothi Uchavali, Chhoti Uchavali and school at Nangarmod village at Saphale.
We believe in There is no greater joy, not a greater reward to make fundamental difference in one’s life the teachers of the group went to these three schools and celebrated Diwali by taking workshop on Lantern Making and distributed Diwali snacks. This workshop brought a lot of joy and happiness to the students. The teachers of these three ZP schools also actively participated and extended their co-operation in this venture.

We are excited to announce that under the banner of ‘Vikas Sevavrati Vrund’ established on February 28, 2021 on the occasion of A. V. A Education Society’s President Mr. Vikas Narsinha Vartak Sir’s birthday.
Under this banner we aimed to set up small library for the students. Accordingly, we appeal to staff of N. G. Vartak English Medium High School and Junior College, Shreemati Taramai Memorial Academy (CBSE) School and Padmashree Bhausaheb Vartak College to donate the old clothes and story books for the needy and poor students of Mothi Unchavali, Chothi Unchavali and Nangarmod Z. P. School at Saphale.
Teachers of three institutional generously donated old clothes, story books and two cupboards which was handed over through our staff members Mr. Jitendra Raut sir and Mr. Prashant Patil siron July 16, 2021.
Give today for better tomorrow
On July 23, 2021 there was a flood in Kokan region. Especially Chiplun, Khed, Mahad and Mangaon were in critical condition. Houses and markets were under the flood. People had to bare extreme loss.
Under the banner ‘Vikas Sevavrati Vrund’ staff and retired teachers and parents of A.V.A Education Society’s N. G. Vartak English Medium High School and Junior College, Shrimati Taramai Vartak Memorial Academy(CBSE) school and Padmashree Bhausaheb Vartak College, under the guidance of Principal Mrs. Sarika Rawat generously donated essential things for life to the needy people.
Things like sanitizer, masks, food grains, clothes, blankets etc. were donated. On July 31, 2021 Mr. Jitendra Raut sir, Mr. Prashant Patil sir, Mr. Prasad Dandekar sir and Mr. Sachin Vaity sir with some social workers personally visited and provided help to the affected area. Some essentials things were also handed over to ‘Jankalyan Trust’ so as to reach to more of the needy families.
