Our History

The manifestation of Vision- Education was envisaged in the year 1986 when two visioned luminaries Late Padmashri Shri Bhausaheb Vartak and Late Shrimati Taramai Vartak laid the genesis of Narsinh Govindrao Vartak English Medium High school and Junior College. The school began in the premises of A V S Vidyamandir with 40 students on roll. The new school building which was developed in 1994 was inaugurated by Dr. Balkrishna Deshmukh, Ex. Chief Justice, Mumbai High Court on December 10, 1994.

Within the next nine years a new academic wing with neoteric educational facilities was added to the existing building. This new wing was inaugurated by Shri Govinda Ahuja, the Ex-member of parliament, on July 14, 2005. The establishment of Junior college on July 9 , 2010 was like a Tiara added into the Diadem of Narsinh Govindrao Vartak English Medium High School and Junior College. Today our institution boast of catering to the educational needs of nearly 2845 students successfully under the able guidance of the President of A.V. A Education Society.

With the advent of new era, modernization and globalization has set in. We have state of art facilities which includes all modern amenities like an authentic Science Laboratory, Colossal Library, Hi-Tech Computer Lab, Language Laboratory, Magnificent Audio Visual Room, Colorful Play Room, an amazing Science Garden and dynamic E-Learning Classrooms.

Our institution has aptly accepted the new challenges in this age of modernization and globalization with the able guidance and expertise of our present president and Management member Shri Vikas Vartak. He has a lion's share in bringing contemporary and modern standards of learning and teaching into our institution. In this process of metamorphosis , we are glad that our journey of excellence continues. We are proud to have shaped and enriched thousands of lives with our Focused Vision Education.
